Kegerreis started writing poetry and short stories at the age of 10. Her writing was quickly noticed and was printed in the school paper with her short story “Wooden Legs” when taking creative writing class. Kegerreis created “Miss Rat” in 2006 while taking a course with Christie Craig, and later brought her into the world through Smooth Sailing Press, a Houston area based publishing company. Kegerreis retains the copyright to her book and has a series of Miss Rat stories that she hopes to publish soon. Though her writing début was with a children’s book, Kegerreis’ writing extends into poetry and fiction and she is currently working on a murder mystery. She enjoys and follows the work of John Grisham, of whom she comments, "He has a style that keeps one wanting more." On the other hand she also states, "Max Lucado is another that I love reading. His writings make everything clear and understandable." Since high school (when she won an essay contest in creative writing class), Kegerreis has been praised and has received awards for her writing. Most recently she won two poetry contests; one of the poems was published in the National Society of Poetry in Washington, the other in a ''Writer's Digest'' contest, where she was given a certificate of recognition. In 1981, one of her poems was requested by a minister to be used for one of his Sunday sermons. All of Miss Rat’s series is Bible based. Kegerries states, "I believe in the truth of the Bible written under the inspiration of God Almighty. And that He sent His Son to save us from sin and damnation." 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Sandra Kegerreis」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
